What FutureBallot keeps about you, and why
Reading the site
No accounts, no advertising, no tracking cookies, and no third-party analytics. The site is served through Cloudflare, which processes requests to deliver and protect the site.
Questions you ask
The text of questions typed into Ask is stored, without anything identifying who asked, so that questions it could not answer can be added.
The email briefing
If you sign up: your email address, the consent wording you agreed to, when you signed up, and a random code for the unsubscribe link. Nothing else, not your IP address. It is used only to send the briefing, is never sold or shared, and is kept in FutureBallot's own database and its backups. Unsubscribing stops all email at once; to have the address deleted entirely, reply to any briefing.
Payments
Support payments are taken by Stripe on its own pages. FutureBallot never sees your card details; Stripe's privacy policy covers what it holds.
